The Wellness Committee would like to invite you to join us in fellowship as we exercise our hearts, bodies and minds through Christ-centered fitness opportunities this summer! We are offering a variety of fitness classes to the HMUMC family and the surrounding community. Please come and worship with us as we stay healthy and fit!
Classes are in room 339, upstairs above the Great Room.
Please dress appropriately and bring an exercise mat/towel, water and shoes.
Classes are suitable for ALL fitness levels and most exercises will include modifications. (Please notify instructor if you have specific exercise requirements, or injuries).
New participants, please fill in form completely. Renewals, please fill in name, class choice, payment and update any new contact information.
Registration and payment may be left in the Wellness Drop box at the entrance to the Ministries Office, or given to the Instructor.

This class format begins with a cardio segment which may include step, stairs, and the great outdoors! The class will then focus on developing core strength (abdominals and back) through Pilates, a form of mat based, isometric excercises.Tubing, balls, dumbbells and your own body weight are then used to work, tone and sculpt the major muscles for a full body workout.
Zumba
A total body workout that gets your feet moving and your hips swinging and your whole body grooving! Burning up to 1100 calories in a 50-minute session!
Beginner Boot Camp
The class format will be varied and may include stations, circuits, steps, stairs and the great outdoors. Please come with an open mind and be ready to enjoy your workout!
20-20-20-Combo
This total all over body workout will offer 20 minutes of cardio vascular endurance to burn calories and work the heart and lungs; 20 minutes of strength training and conditioning using body weight, light dumbbell weights and flexi bands to shape and tone; and 20 minutes of Pilates and floor work, abs toning and flexibility for developing core stability!
