| In 1995 Bishop Lloyd Knox of the United Methodist Church recognized that there was a new community forming in our area. He believed that there was a need for a church that was full of grace and committed to serving the community and helping people to grow in their relationship and understanding of God. He appointed Dr. David L. Davis and his family to this area to form and lead our new church. In the fall of 1995 a small group gathered together for neighborhood Bible studies and began planning and forming the vision for our church. Our first worship service was held on the first Sunday in December of 1995 at Fort Daniel School. We continued to gather and worship at this neighboring school until our church home was complete. We had our first worship service in our new and current home on Pine Road in Dacula on the first Sunday in September of 2000. |
