From the very beginning, Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church has been committed to faithful and compassionate mission ministry. It is our belief that we are to go into all the world and proclaim Christ. How? One person at a time - reaching our family, our neighbors, our community and the world.

Feeding the Hungry
Once each month, members travel to Atlanta to feed the women and children at the Women's Community Kitchen at Grace United Methodist Church. This year the Missions Committee organized a birthday party for those served. They were delighted and blessed, and so were we. Also this year, HMUMC fed over 800 men at the Trinity Soup Kitchen in Atlanta. We provide food to the Lawrenceville Salvation Army through regular can drives. At Thanksgiving, members and friends provide meals for seniors through the Lawrenceville Housing Authority.

Reaching the World
Each summer a mission team travels to Honduras, where they work to improve housing conditions and spread the love of Christ. At right, Jan Watkins prepares a Honduran girl's feet to receive new shoes.

One Person at a Time
The Missions Committee helps numerous families in times of crisis. Often these situations are confidential and the congregation-at-large in unaware of the many ways in which their contributions help serve those in need. Currently we are also partnering with the Gwinnett County Children's Shelter and investigating new program areas.

A Vision for Christ's Church
Hamilton Mill United Methodist is a young church, and yet the congregation has accomplished much through the power of the Holy Spirit. Help envision outreach goals for the future. Prayerfully consider the needs of this community and your role in filling those needs.
